Anna qualified as an optometrist in 1996 and she has practiced locally as well as abroad. She enjoys working in independent practices and in hospital environment where she managed more challenging ocular pathologies.
General optometry involving visual assessment and ocular health check is her bread and butter. She has a particular interest in posterior segment of the eye and glaucoma. She works alongside a consultant ophthalmologist in one of the Retina Clinics in Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth, where she sees and manages patients with Macular Degeneration and Glaucoma.
Apart from managing ocular pathologies, she is keen in Low Vision Aids, which are devices which is suitable for patients with sight impairment in their everyday tasks where normal spectacles are not suitable anymore.
Outside her working life, she likes the outdoor life such as walking and gardening.
